순간, Mark Juhn회장님의 블로그가 생각이 났습니다. 들어가보니, 바로 하루 전에 그 분의 최대 관심사인 자동차 산업에 대한 포스팅을 올린 것을 보게 되었습니다. 메일에 대해 의심이 들기 시작하더군요. 그래서 답장에 퀴즈:)를 냈습니다. 도움을 물론 드리겠지만, 먼저, 확인을 하겠다고. 그 분과 함께 식사하던 때, 최근에 주고 받았던 선물들에 대한 퀴즈를 내었습니다. 그리고, 날이 밝아 토요일 오전에 전화를 했더니, 아니나 다를까, 메일이 해킹당했다고 하시더군요.
안도의 한숨과 함께, 세상 참 흉흉하다는 생각을 했습니다. 한편으로 블로그가 있어 이렇게 서로의 안부를 확인할수도 있구나...하는 생각을 했습니다.
블로그가 좋은 점 한 가지를 발견했던 주말이었습니다:)

So please can you help me with a sum of $2,800 USD to sort out my problems here? I need this help so much and on time because i am in a terrible and tight situation here, I don't even have money to feed myself for a day which means i had been starving, so please understand how urgent i need your help.

2009/01/12 16:14글쎄말입니다. 실제로 이 메일을 받은 한 외국인은 실제로 돈을 보냈다가 중간에 급히 연락을 받고 송금을 중지했다고 하더군요...

2009/01/14 01:19제가 아는 사람이 이런 류의 메일을 별로 가깝지 않은 비즈니스 파트너로부터 받았는데, 그때는 그냥 참 별일이다 싶었다고 합니다. 그 얘길 듣던 사람들중 한 명은 '그래도 좀 보내주지 그랬냐' 라고까지 했는데요...ㅋ

2009/01/21 22:30지난 번 해킹당한 것은 저의 불찰도 있었습니다. 처음에는 의심했었는데 그만 깜박 속은 결과로 주소록에 있는 모든 분께 사기 이메일이 날아가고 그중 몇 친구들은 속았을 뿐이고..
